家見過用桌面PUZ益智類遊戲要素來玩RPG角色扮演遊戲的嗎？即將登陸於PSN、XBLA網路、
PSP與NDS等主機上推出的《益智編年史》（英文原名《PuzzleChronicles》，又譯為《謎
題編年史》）就是這樣一款融合RPG（角色扮演）與PUZ（益智解謎）兩種類型的遊戲。
新作《益智編年史》（PuzzleChronicles）擁有類似於RPG式的劇情，但是戰鬥卻完全是以
消除連珠遊戲來完成。故事發生在由阿薩林帝國統治的蠻荒大陸，在這個諸侯割據的中土世
界裡，玩家將扮演一名年輕的勇士向邪惡的帝國發起挑戰，從邪惡的魔爪下解救自己的部落
的村民們。遊戲裡玩家需要控制自己的人物在各個村莊和城鎮中打聽情報、購買裝備等。而
進入迷宮探索寶物和敵人等RPG的要素也包含在遊戲中，只是戰鬥時全變成了連珠消除類遊戲。
遊戲在戰鬥時通過PUZ益智遊戲得方式進行的。主要戰鬥形式是在一個8×8的格子內消除各個
顏色的寶石，看上去很像動物管理員之類的遊戲。不過還是有很大不同的，因為戰鬥並不是
以消除的多或者快為主。另外新作還搭載在線對戰模式、線下對戰模式以及5個迷你遊戲等。
益智新作《益智編年史》目前由曾開發過人氣益智RPG遊戲：《益智之謎》（PuzzleQuest）
的澳大利亞InfiniteInteractive工作室所開發的全新力作，同時本作的發行商KONAMI也正
式公佈了本作將預定2010年的2月份在北美地區發售，有喜歡此類益智遊戲的玩家可要留意了。
